100. Relaxation

"Just one more page... but it's so exciting..."

BDay art I did for a good friend at school. I totally forgot about her birthday, and because the weather was shitty and I was lazy, I did a pic while my other friend bought the gift. For my own sake, it was a book (we hadn't even talked about WHAT she wanted to buy) XD

About the pic: I was in a real rush, because I just had this one day. I sketched it, scanned it and started to ink it right after doing so (which was never the case before). These are freehand inks, so the lines look different than they do at other arts. I'll start to make those inks more often now, I think it's not that difficult and it's more fun than using the pentool. I got the pose from a book of mine, like I said, I had to hurry and didn't wanted to struggle with the pose. About the coloration... well, some of the shadings look weird, I need more practising with the tablet... and with making highlights. The coloring took some time anyway... because it's a background we have there. OMG, another REAL background! (And please ignore that sunflower-pic on the wall, it matched with the pic, but I didn't think that flower became very pretty, but the whole backgrounds sucks *played weird with the tablet again*). I used a brush for the letters I got from a friend, so I can't tell you the source.
Oh well, for six hours it's allright, I guess...
Although I actually wanted to turn the colors lighter. But after looking at it, I think it's okay... I like bright colors. *shot*
And anyway, this was for a birthday small card... so you can see all the details I messed up, I didn't need to be precise. ||D

By the way, this is her, I mean that character based at her); I think she looks like a fox in real, so she has her own character for a half of a year now (although she don't even know Sonic... ||D).
